ART IN THE PARKS.
is a program designed for PIAG MUSEUM on Wheels
We started at BRYAN PARK July, 2003
The event was coordinated by P.A.L.
DUARTE PARK August,2003
OLYMPIC PARK April, 2004
This program generated the idea of the need of a Mobile Museum to bring art to children and adults that
can’t easily go to a museum.
On May 2005 PIAG MUSEUM ON WHEELS was inaugurated

With Commissioner Joe A Martinez, Mireya Perez Power and Martha Salas.
Mireya explained to Mr. Martinez how Piag Museum on wheels will work. Besides teaching the kids at parks the Mobile Museum would make art accesible to people

District 11 Easter Festival & Piag Museum on wheels art programs Piag Museum colaborated with Miami Dade County District 11 teaching art to 105 children and families.
