Art Cubes Exhibition - Manuel Barreiro Elementary

PIAG Museum’s project “Earth And Water” has been designed to create awareness and emphasize our individual and community responsibility for consciously doing our part in protecting our sensitive environment .Our goal is to use art as the main tool to express a message with a positive and educational twist.
Since education begin at an early age and experiences are accumulated through time, this project has been conceptualized to involve participants of all ages, from elementary school youngsters with their rich imaginations to senior citizens with their wisdom and life long experiences. For Creative Visions 2011, organized by Miami Dade district 11, PIAG Museum is proud to present the art cubes of Miami Dade County Public School Dr, Manuel C. Barreiro. With the help of the art Teacher Karla Montes ,the students presented their concern and ideas in painted cubes representing earth & water.
